Life’s Race

IF YOU DESIRE TO RACE
THEN RACE AGAINST TIME
OR WITH THE PAST YOU
RACE IN TO THE FUTURE
RACE AGAINST THE GUSTS,
WAVES & OCEAN’S THRUSTS
RACE AGAINST THE NIGHT,
THE DYING OF THE LIGHT
CHASE THE CRIMSON SUNSETS
RACE TO THE MOUNTAINS
AND THE END OF NOWHERE
RACE AGAINST THE SUN’S RAYS
IF AT ALL YOU WISH TO RACE

OR MOVE AT YOUR OWN PACE
GIVE UP THE RUN & CHASE
STILL YET, YOU SHALL FACE
GUSTS, LIGHT & SUN’S RAYS
SPACE WILL CHANGE SLOWLY
TIME WILL DILATE, COALESCE
LET NIGHT LEAD TO LIGHT
PAIN WILL TEACH YOU FIGHT
MOUNTAINS SHALL BEND
THE OCEAN WILL TEND
COLD WAVES UNTO YOUR FEET
IF TIRED & MUST YOU WAIT
ON THIS ROAD, START ANYTIME
IT WILL NEVER BE TOO LATE!

Time Again

There is no stopping time

No turning back or

Jumping ahead the needles

There is no stocking

No transferring of it.

It is yours if you

simply relate to it

Else it simply adds

To the wistful moments

We called life

Tick-tock as the clock

Unleashes end in

Every beginning of

This new moment.

To feel time again

Rising from death

Embrace dark space

And time is real again

Night

The night calls me
waking me up from a deep slumber.
The night shows me
sky full of stars in december.
It is quite and moonlit,
haunted by our fears.
She is a beauty,
a painting of lights and shadows.
Silently and slowly she grows.

Ode to Nature

How the seasons change?
With them the colours,
the trees, the animals and the skies.

How the days and nights go on?
In an eternal cycle.
Melting into each other.

In the day the sun,
replenishing ,re-energising,brings light.

The evening,
a canvas of colours blending.
Masterpieces of nature emerging.

Then the night falls
and swiftly comes the band of stars,
lead by the moon.
The clouds hiding it
and sometimes giving it away.
A game,a sort of child’s play.

How the wind blows?
Carrying on its wings,
the message of rain,
which arrives soon
hidden within clouds,
which burst open,
stabbed by thunders.

How the snow falls?
Like little stars falling from sky,
only they remained so little.
Melting at a finger’s touch

How the time moves?
Ever so silently,
yet announcing itself aloud
Centuries,decades,years,months,weeks and days
and their hours and minutes,
passing away into tiny seconds.
every moment ticking away,
leaving change behind it.

How beautiful the universe is?
Never could it be captured in words,
no matter how deeply they are written.
For it can only be seen and felt,
with two eyes and a heart,
which is one with it.

Game of Nature.

Evening melted and night lit up,
Shining stars and glistening lamps.
Far far away a fire blazed
In its light I sat amazed.

The world is all but fixed
Nature is playing its tricks
Day and night all over again,
Sun and the moon dance in a game.

Further away an ocean roared,
As wave after wave swept the sand
Again I realize, the world is all but fixed
As i watched the name in sand disappear.

In the farthest point I could see,
After which i could see no more,
I saw it all and watched it all,
Till i could see none anymore
The evening melted into the night,
the night into the light
And the music of nature played on.
