Life’s Race

IF YOU DESIRE TO RACE
THEN RACE AGAINST TIME
OR WITH THE PAST YOU
RACE IN TO THE FUTURE
RACE AGAINST THE GUSTS,
WAVES & OCEAN’S THRUSTS
RACE AGAINST THE NIGHT,
THE DYING OF THE LIGHT
CHASE THE CRIMSON SUNSETS
RACE TO THE MOUNTAINS
AND THE END OF NOWHERE
RACE AGAINST THE SUN’S RAYS
IF AT ALL YOU WISH TO RACE

OR MOVE AT YOUR OWN PACE
GIVE UP THE RUN & CHASE
STILL YET, YOU SHALL FACE
GUSTS, LIGHT & SUN’S RAYS
SPACE WILL CHANGE SLOWLY
TIME WILL DILATE, COALESCE
LET NIGHT LEAD TO LIGHT
PAIN WILL TEACH YOU FIGHT
MOUNTAINS SHALL BEND
THE OCEAN WILL TEND
COLD WAVES UNTO YOUR FEET
IF TIRED & MUST YOU WAIT
ON THIS ROAD, START ANYTIME
IT WILL NEVER BE TOO LATE!

Who We Are.

We are mean machines
Captured consciousness
Chaotic, disrupted presences
Vying for belonging
Living on in hopelessness
In a familiar strangeness
Above all, Death is relentless
And dying is not lifelessness.

We are measured extremes,
trying so hard to balance
our lives in weightlessness,
scrounging by on emotions
breaking our meditation,
trusting in faithlessness.
Universe is indefiniteness
boundaries are absurdness.

We are poised river streams,
flowing in chosen directions,
Living and dying to meet
oceans and then fall as rain.
Meandering by, a tamelessness
an epitome of abstractness.
We live as she lives by
a journey of ambitiousness.

We are forgotten dreams
in an eye of imagitiveness
it is discovering nuances
with a look of ancientness.
It is only right to wake up
experience anonymousness
remembering the dreams
live moments of breathlessness.

Ride A Storm

Hit a stone wall
Break a solid rock
Drink the entire ocean
Capture countless stars
Breathe in the space
Exhale out galaxies
Hunt your wilderness
Climb your eagerness
Fight your weakness
Express your meekness
Will on to your dreams
Swim in the icy streams
Die for your lover and
When in pain, don’t scream
Walk, move and run faster
Avert a natural disaster
Go around the world
Give meaning to your word
Give someone a hope
Climb a hill without rope
Sometimes learn to say ‘nope’
Eat the fruit of the sun
Shoot love from a gun
Prey with the cheetah
Walk like a King
Jump in to the ring
Burn fire and wet water
Be magic like Harry Potter
Look up away from the screen
See the places you haven’t seen
Be something which you haven’t been
Read between the lines
And understand what they mean
Discover the fire within
Receive love in giving
Make a paradise on Earth
Let your ideas take birth
Embrace life, kiss death
Leave your legend after
Nothing of you is left.

Into The Wild.

Last night I had a chance to see ‘Into the Wild’ again. It is an amazing   movie and depicts something which I have always wanted to do.

“There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more.”

– LORD BYRON

What I do ?

What I do is,
I step into a stranger’s shoes,
and walk along finding the clues.
I see, I hear and talk like him
I be him, am him, belong to him.
He may be painter, a soldier or a killer,
I have been both pious and sinner.
I see through your eye,
The same ground the same sky.
But wrought with perceptions of my own,
Things I see, to you I have shown.
Strung in the harmony of words,
I will narrate you the chirping of birds
Like crackling of galaxies, a herd of herds.
Drop the honeyed sun in the ocean
Or set upon entire worlds in motion.

What I do,
Is I speak a language,
of a universal syntax.
Please do correct me if I am lax,
I do not mean to impose,
I just don’t talk in prose.
If you are looking for patterns,
You won’t find any.
There is not one but one too many.
I simply plough in the mind field,
some times sowing ,others slashing.
Seeds in the corners of the unknown minds.
Shall they grow up to be a labyrinth ?
Or remain just seeds.
How much of what I say is true ?
It is all up to you.

What I do is,
I reflect you in my lines.
Read your life in between them,
In one I have lived many lives.
I like to shuffle between them.
Moving between you I study you.
Unknown, I live among you.
Long after I am gone and my bones are interred.
My verses shall be read, my songs sung, my poetry heard.
I shine in your dreamy eyes.
I reveal the truth behind your lies.
What I do is I read, not books.
But smile,frowns,faces and looks.

What I do is,
I bend the rules.
Even make them break them.
Sometimes I have to remake them.
My characters are real,
the scenes and my experiences.
The sights are really surreal.
A lot of wrong turns, not mere events.
In the pitch dark night.
I will describe the light
For you I will shine bright.
Is what I do !
